How are licenses applied?
Orchard is licensed per device. Each enrolled device requires its own Orchard license.
Is that price ex VAT?
Yes. UK VAT at 20% is added at checkout. VAT invoices are issued monthly.
What happens at the end of my trial?
When the 28-day trial ends, the workspace becomes read-only for 60 days so you can retain access to your audit data. If you do not move to a paid license during that period, the workspace is automatically deleted.
What is the partner discount range?
8% at 50 licenses, rising to 25% above 1,000. Partner discounts are published in the partner pack rather than negotiated on a deal-by-deal basis.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Direct customers are billed monthly and can cancel at any time with no notice period. Partner billing can be annual, but this is a billing arrangement rather than a minimum contract term.
Do we need an MDM license as well?
No. Orchard does not require an MDM and can run standalone. It is designed to complement an existing MDM, adding dedicated patching, compliance enforcement, and remediation alongside it.
